Gambling Information

The Aftermath! gambling system requires the player to make a bet. The bet is the base amount that is being gambled, much like the initial bet in a poker game. Like a poker game, additional money is bet through the course of the hand, so the overall winnings or losses may greatly exceed the initial bet.

The maximum win or loss is 20x the bet. So if you bet 100BP you could win or lose 2000 BP!
The minimum bet is 10 BP.
An NPC will not lose more than 2 times in a row before quitting.

As a convention the player and opponent must have 'funds' on hand to cover the maximum loss. Because items barter at different costs, the player must determine what is a fair price for the bet cover. Bullets make a convenient currency for betting. The value of a bullet is BDG/20 rounded.
